Before we’re start publishing pictures and greeting cards for the Chinese New Year Greetings 2016, we would like to provide you some basic information as well.
Chinese New Year 2016 is Monday, February 8. Chinese New Year is considered a major holiday for the Chinese. It is centuries old and is a time to honor ancestors. To celebrate, the Chinese people decorate their windows and doors with red color paper-cuts. Other activities include lighting firecrackers and giving money in red paper envelopes. This year is the “Year of the Monkey.”
February 8th we celebrate Chinese New Year and in 2016, we will begin the year of the Red Fire Monkey. Wishing you love and joy, peace and harmony, and abundant blessings for 2016!
