• The Independence Day!

One of the most important historical events that take place in the United States of America is the Independence Day, which is also referred as the Fourth of July. The Independence Day basically celebrates the signing of the Declaration of Independence, declaring that the then 13 nations were no longer beholden to British rule (then King George III). Besides, the Independence Day is not only a historical event but also a federal and national holiday in The United States of America.

• The celebrations of the Independence Day!

Nowadays, Independence Day is celebrated with patriotic displays and summer-themed events. One of the nation’s federal holidays, it’s celebrated by people across the country with parties, picnics and barbecues. Friends and families gather amid a flurry of red, white and blue, waving flags and setting off fireworks to a chorus of The Star Spangled Banner. At military bases across the country, a gun for each of the United States is fired at noon.

So the Fourth of July is never an ordinary day. It is a true festival. It is the time all locals gather together eating, shouting, dancing, laughing, running, and literally jumping with joy. Families with children engross in various stalls that present things like face painting, shooting games, and other fun filled events.

Some stalls offer an interactive session with children, showing them exactly what the Fourth of July exactly means and why such an important day in the history of the United States, while other stalls offer souvenirs, flags, and other memorabilia for the day, besides the local bands that play patriotic tunes, hitting their rock prestige with some blaring guitars and extreme drum solos.

The most fun part of the day takes place in the evening when everyone gets really excited. It is the time when loud music is played and fireworks begin to explode in front of the dark curtain that was the sky! Both the music and the fireworks are enough to produce amazing colors and designs.

So Independence Day celebrations in the United States are always a fun affair for all people.

Accordingly, the Fourth of July is one of the most important events for Americans over the year, because it is the day all Americans decided to say “No” to colonization and retrieve their country. It is the day the United States succeeded in winning its freedom, liberty and independence against the Britaish Empire in 1776.
